All applications for the second semester 2021-2022 is now closed. Applications for 2020 is as follows:

Undergraduate qualifications (higher certificates, advanced certificates, diplomas, advanced diplomas & degrees): Applications for admission to Unisa have been extended. Apply now!

Unisa’s Short Learning Programmes

Unisa’s Short Learning Programmes (SLPs) focus on “just in time” and “just enough” learning to meet a specific learning need to be identified by individuals, organisations or society at large. SLPs are offered by centres located within the different academic departments of Colleges. Programme content and contact details are contained in each programme. You may also direct enquiries to ucl@unisa.ac.za. As part of a pilot project, only a select number of programmes will be able to apply online. Other programmes will be added in 2021-2022.

- New & returning students: 10 – 28 June
- Students awaiting results: 16 July – 16 August
Honours degrees & postgraduate diplomas with semester modules:
- New & returning students: 10 – 28 June
- Students awaiting results: 16 July – 16 August
Master’s & doctoral degrees: Closed (with some exceptions)

If you are a first-time Unisa applicant and do not have a myLife e-mail address, Unisa will communicate with you via the e-mail address and cellphone number you provided during the application period.
If you were previously registered with Unisa, Unisa will send the outcome of your application to your myLife e-mail account. Please check this e-mail account regularly for information. If you have forgotten your myUnisa / myLife password, please go to myUnisa (https://my.unisa.ac.za) to update your password.
Unisa provides all registered students with a free myLife e-mail address. It is your responsibility to activate your myLife e-mail account as soon as your registration is finalised. Your myLife e-mail account will be the only e-mail account recognised by Unisa for official correspondence to and from the university and will remain the official primary e-mail address on record at Unisa.
