ABOUT PORT ELIZABETH TVET COLLEGE COURSES

TVET College of Port Elizabeth is a progressive institution with a long and distinguished history.

The Port Elizabeth College (PE College) was formed in January 2002 by the merger of the Russell Road, Bethelsdorp, and Iqhayiya Technical Colleges. We focus on developing individuals today in order to prepare them for future challenges by providing them with the practical skills they need to achieve their goals and dreams.

This is in line with our goal of becoming the preferred provider of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Programs that address the human capital and skill development needs of a dynamic developing country.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR PORT ELIZABETH TVET COLLEGE COURSES

Admissions Criteria

  • Only students who completed grade 12 in 2018 or later are eligible to enroll in any of the disciplines offered.
  • Statement of Results, Identity Document, Grade 12 (ID).

Entry requirements are as follows:

  • A year-end school report for students in grades 9 and up
  • A level 1 NQF qualification
  • An approved bridging program created specifically for the purpose of gaining admission to NQF level 2.
  • To achieve the minimum requirements for entrance to NQF level 2, a recognition of prior learning assessment is required.
  • Only students who completed grade 12 in 2018 or later are eligible to enroll in any of the disciplines offered.
  • Statement of Results, Identity Document, Grade 12 (ID).
