Applications are now being accepted for students interested in studying at Orbit TVET College in 2023.
Students can take a variety of courses at Orbit TVET College’s three locations. Orbit TVET College is now accepting applications for the 2023 study.
At Orbit TVET College’s three locations, you can choose from a variety of qualifications. On all of their campuses, they offer academic improvement, social and cultural programmes, job placement, and counselling to their students.

REQUIREMENTS FOR ELIGIBILITY
To be accepted for the following NATED programs you must have:
National Senior Certificate
- NQF Level 4
Financial Management:
- National Senior Certificate with Accounting
Engineering:
- National Senior Certificate with Mathematics
LEARNERSHIP
On demand, the Business Unit organises a variety of accredited and non-accredited part-time and full-time courses such as:
- Hairdressing: NQF Level 2-4 (Duration 1 year per level)
- Early Childhood Development: ECD Level 4 – 5 (Duration 1year per level)
- Business Administration: Level 4 (Duration 1 year per level)
- Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT)SA: Level 4 (Duration 1 year per level)
- New Venture Creation: Level 4 (Duration 1 year per level)
SKILLS
To be accepted for any skills program you must be 16years of age and older:
- Jewellery: Grade 11
- Electrical: Grade 10 with Maths.
- Motor Mechanic & Welding: Grade 10 with Maths.
- Bricklaying: Grade 9.
- Plumbing: Grade 9.
- Upholstery & Carpentry: Grade 9
ORBIT TVET COLLEGE COURSES ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Requirements for Occupational Courses;
- Minimum admissions requirements based on recognized QCTO/SETA Skills Programs/Learnerships.
- Students who have previously participated in NC(V) or Report 191 programs will only be accepted for an Occupational Program if they have completed the whole NC(V) or Report 191 program (passed all subjects).
Additional Admissions Requirements
- In order to improve the quality and performance of specialised programmes, the College Council has developed new admission requirements for NC(V) level 2, Report 191 N1, and Report 191 N4 that use a point system.
