NORTHLINK TVET COLLEGE INFORMATION

Wingfield Technical College (three campuses: Wingfield, Goodwood, and Table Bay), Tygerberg College (Tygerberg and Parow), Protea College, and Bellville Technical College merged to form Northlink College in 2002.

Northlink purchased Belhar College, a private institution, in 2005. The name is a combination of the words “north” and “link,” referring to the institution’s location in Cape Town (which describes the initial linking of the former colleges). It also emphasises the significance of the link between education and employment.
