ABOUT NORTHERN CAPE RURAL TVET COLLEGE
Northern Cape Rural TVET College is a rural TVET college in the Northern Cape. NCR TVET College in the Northern Cape has invited you to study Certificate and Diploma programmes in Business and Engineering, among other subjects. Completing any of these qualifications may lead to employment or university-level education in your field of interest.

NORTHERN CAPE RURAL TVET COLLEGE COURSES ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS.
Course Requirements for NC(V);
- Students may study for a total of four years for NC (V) Levels 2, 3, and 4 to make up for any topic failures.
- NQF1 (Grade 9) and AET Level 4 are the entry requirements.
- The NC (V) policy has led and coordinated the entrance requirements.
- To determine qualification admission, a point system will be used.
Requirements for 191 Courses;
- Minimum admittance qualifications are established by the NATED Policy.
- Students who have completed Grade 12/NC (V) Level 4 will be admitted to N4.
- Students who have completed grades 9, 10, 11, or 12 and choose to pursue a career as an artisan will be admitted to N1 on a point system.
Requirements for Occupational Courses
- Admission requirements are based on QCTO/SETA-approved registered Skills Programs/Learnerships.
- A student who has previously enrolled in NC(V) or Report 191 programmes will only be considered for an Occupational Program if the NC(V) or Report 191 programme has been completed in its entirety (passed all subjects).
Additional Admissions Requirements
- The College Council has established new admission requirements for NC(V) level 2, Report 191 N1, and Report 191 N4 using a point system in order to improve the quality and performance of specialised programmes.
