Esayidi TVET College is a Technical Vocational Education and Training institution located on South Africa’s Lower South Coast in the KwaZulu-Natal Province. The old Port Shepstone and Enyenyezi Technical Colleges merged to form the new Port Shepstone and Enyenyezi Technical Colleges in 2003.
Esayidi TVET College aspires to be a model institution and the leading provider of relevant, high-quality, and cost-effective TVET education in a stable and secure environment.

The College has six campuses and numerous Community Development Centers throughout the Southern KZN Region. Students who have excelled academically but require financial assistance are eligible for financial aid. Bursaries are awarded by the Department of Higher Education and Training to academically deserving students, both current and prospective, who are in financial need.
Students should apply for these bursaries if they are in desperate need of financial assistance.

 ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR ESAYIDI TVET COLLEGE COURSES

NC(V) Courses Requirements

Students may study for up to four years for NC (V) Levels 2, 3, and 4, taking into account possible subject failures.

  • Minimum entrance requirements are NQF1 i.e. Grade 9 and AET Level 4
  • Entry requirements have been guided and aligned to the NC (V) policy. A point system for entry into qualifications will be utilized.

Requirements for Report 191 Courses

  • The NATED Policy establishes minimum entry standards.
    N4 will admit students who have completed Grade 12/NC (V) Level 4.
  • Students who have completed grades 9, 10, 11, or 12 and choose to pursue a career as an artisan will be admitted to N1 on a point system.

 Requirements for Occupational Course

  • Minimum admittance requirements based on QCTO/SETA- approved registered Skills Programs/Learnerships.
  • A student who has previously enrolled in NC(V) or Report 191 programmes will only be considered for an Occupational Program if the NC(V) or Report 191 programme has been completed in its entirety (passed all subjects).

Additional  Admission Requirements

  • In order to improve the quality and performance of specialized programs, the College Council has established new admission requirements for NC(V) level 2, Report 191 N1, and Report 191 N4 using a point system.
