ABOUT BOLAND TVET COLLEGE
As part of its transformation programme for technical colleges in the Western Cape, the Western Cape Education Department (WCED) transformed 15 existing technical colleges into six massive Further Education and Training (FET) Colleges in 1998.
Under the Department of Higher Education and Training, Further Education and Training colleges have been renamed Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) colleges (DHET). Three of these colleges are in Cape Town, while the other three are in rural areas.
